COVID-19 Information regarding your stay at The Place Hotel.

We are constantly monitoring the development of COVID-19 around the world and in our local area. Our number one priority is the well-being, safety, and health of our guests and staff members. In order to secure just that, we have certain procedures, plans, and routines in place.

Keeping cleanliness and hygiene as our priority, we are following the guidelines of the CDC and local health authorities in our hotel. We have strict personal hygiene policies for all of our team members  We also encourage our guests to frequently wash their hands with soap and warm water. Following are the things we do at our hotel for securing the safety of our guests:

• We follow the recommendations & guidelines of local authorities and the AHLA and CDC.
• We have an increased focus on cleaning and hygiene protocols
• We are regularly disinfecting exposed surfaces with anti-bacterial liquids
• Attention to the procedures for dealing with colleagues who are ill
• Our hotel has been provided with detailed information about COVID-19 and management instructions from the CDC and the American & Hotel Lodging Association as part of the SafeStay initiative. 

As remaining consistent with the American Hotel & Lodging Association and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines has kept our guests and team member safe throughout the pandemic, our hotel policies will remain unchanged at this time. The following practices will remain in place as we all continue work through these challenging times:

• LIMITED HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE: In order to limit the contact between guests and our staff, maid service will be offered on a request only basis to guests staying three nights or more. To request service please make sure to complete a Housekeeping Request Form at the front desk. For guests staying less than three nights, we ask that you place your trash outside your guestroom door daily to be picked up. As always, towels and any other addtional amenities are available for pick-up at the front desk. 
• BREAKFAST: At this time breakfast the hotel is offering a limited continental buffet from 6 am until 9:30 each morning. The buffet conisists of cold prepackaged items only.
